Onix Resume Builder
An AI-assisted CV and resume-building platform that helps people produce professional application documents.
Overview
Onix helps users build CVs and resumes with AI assistance, resume templates, cover letter generation and consistent professional formatting.
Problem being addressed
Many job seekers struggle to present their experience clearly, and professional CV-writing services are out of reach for many people entering the job market.
Why it matters
A clear, well-formatted application document is often the difference between being considered and being overlooked. Making that easier is a direct contribution to employment readiness.
Solution
A guided web tool that combines templates and AI assistance so a user can produce a complete, well-formatted document without design or writing experience.
My role
Founder and product lead. I worked on the product concept, application development and the AI-assisted document workflow.
Challenges encountered
Generating useful, honest output from AI assistance rather than generic filler, and keeping documents easy to edit and export.
Lessons learned
AI assistance works best when it guides the user rather than replacing their judgement.
Future direction
Improve the quality of generated content and broaden the template and export options.
