BetYangu

A football prediction platform exploring automated prediction workflows and data-driven analysis.

Overview

BetYangu explores automated prediction workflows and data-driven analysis for football fixtures. It is a technical exploration of data pipelines and modelling rather than a claim of predictive accuracy.

Problem being addressed

Turning sports data into structured, repeatable analysis involves data collection, modelling and presentation work that is easy to underestimate.

Why it matters

The interesting engineering problem is the pipeline: reliably collecting data, processing it on a schedule and presenting results honestly.

Solution

An automated workflow that gathers fixture data, runs prediction models and publishes analysis.

My role

Founder and developer. I built the platform and the automation behind it.

Challenges encountered

Data quality and reliability, and being honest about uncertainty in a domain where accuracy is easily overstated.

Lessons learned

Prediction accuracy claims need independent verification before they mean anything, and model output should be presented with its uncertainty.

Future direction

Improve the data pipeline. No accuracy claims are made without independently verified results.
